{So You Think You Can Sew} Week 1: Project Reveal

Can I just say that I am so excited that this contest has finally begun! I have worked so hard to get all of our wonderful sponsors lined up and this competition organized! We have 12 talented competitors  that are ready for their debut- and we have the judges to thank for their help in hand picking each competitor! These talented ladies have been sewing their hearts out- and it has paid off because they have come up with awesome projects!

Here is a little behind the scenes info for everyone- so that you know exactly what the contestants have been and will be going through over the next month! Each week the contestants will be given a different theme and they will have less than one week to sew a new project that fits within the guidelines for the week. They may not use any patterns, anyone else's tutorials, and they must complete the work themselves.
Projects will be revealed each Wednesday at 8:00 am est and voting will take place until Thursday 8:00 pm est. At that time, I will tally up the votes and announce the contestants moving on Thursday at 10:00 pm est. (each week the bottom 3 will get cut from the competition) There will be 4 weeks of competition- The 4th week the top 3 contestants will be duking it out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes!

This weeks theme is "For the Home"
{which is basically anything that could be found within the home}

I am so impressed at the amazing things each contestant came up with!! So without further adieu... Here are your top 12 and their projects!

{Click on the picture to see more about how each contestant made her project!}

Last but not least, I want to thank all of our AWESOME sponsors!! Make sure you check all of them out and show them some love!!

Results will be up Thursday Jan 5th @ 10:00 pm est!
