I started a Valentine's Day tradition a couple years ago at my house that is a lot of fun... It's the 14 Days of Valentines. Every morning in February starting the 1st until the 14th, I leave a love note with a treat/gift for my husband and each of my kids to find when they wake up. It has been a really fun way to show my family just how much I love them during the season of LOVE!
This year as I was planning my 14 days of Valentines I had a great idea- I thought it would be fun to keep each of the love notes I write my kids and put them in our Project Life scrapbook album. So, I decided to make my own printable 3x4 Project Life cards to write my notes on. I printed mine at Kinkos/Fedex on white cardstock and they turned out great.
Each card says "Just one of the many reasons I love you so much" with a few lines to write a sentence or two of why I love that child so much.
I have had a lot of luck finding inexpensive treats and gifts in the dollar section of Target and also the dollar store. I even found these darling mini mailboxes at Target for $1 and they work perfect for the notes and smaller gifts/treats. I try to keep it to $1 per kid, per day {so I don't go broke!}. Some of the things they are getting this year with their love notes are: coloring books, markers, crayons, silly putty, valentine window clings, lip balm, valentines treats, etc.
The notes fit perfectly in the vertical 3x4 inch slots of the Project Life photo pocket pages.
I designed my cards to coordinate with the Project Life Love Themed Cards so that I could alternate writing on different cards to create my Project Life layout... It looks so cute put together!
I am so excited to start our family's 14 days of Valentines this year with these cute love notes!
I am sharing the printable tags with y'all so you can let the special people in your life the reasons you love them too!
