Let me just start off by saying that I am so excited to have my friend Kristyn from Lil Luna guest posting for me today! She is hilarious! When I got her post I about died laughing! It is so funny and I am so happy she is here to share it with you all! ha ha So without further adieu... Here is Kristyn!

Hi there Mommy By Day Readers!
My name is Kristyn, and I blog over at Lil' Luna.
Come on over and say hi and you will find lots of fun crafts, recipes, tutorials, printables and more.

I'm so happy to be here today.
Ashley is a doll!

Let me preface by saying:
You might think my family is a little crazy after this post....

Every year my mom's entire side of the family has a White Elephant Exchange. We ALWAYS do it the first Monday of December to celebrate my Grandma Luna's birthday. She passed away 15 years ago and to remember her we have this annual get together and spend the night in PJs, eating the yummiest breakfast foods and having this exchange. We also have Santa come to visit the kiddos, which they LOVE. It's an event we look forward to each year!

{Everyone gathered around the fire for the white elephant exchange}

Well, a few years back, I decided to do a White Elephant gift that I thought would be super funny.
Using the program Magic Mirror {that I bought and downloaded online}, I edited pictures of my family, printed them, and stuck them in a $1 photo album. The person who chose my gift was in shock. They couldn't stop laughing as everyone wondered what it was.
The album was quickly passed around to everyone.
Bursts of laughter entailed.

My family LOVED it!
I've continued the tradition for almost 5 years now, and it's the
White Elephant Gift that EVERYONE is hoping to get. {Yes, my family is CRAZY, and seeing the pics below, you'll know why!}

Here are some samples of my EDITED pictures....

 Told you we were a little messed up. ;)

Using the program, I am able to accentuate and do all sorts of fun stuff to these pics, and we think it's hilarious. Some people may find it offensive, but these pictures provide hours of laughter for our family!

I take these pics on Thanksgiving day and now that people know what I'm taking them for, they like to make faces which often means even funnier pictures!
You can see from the pics below that there is a huge difference from the BEFORE & AFTER photos:

 {My bro and his fiancee}
 {My cousin's baby}
 {My Lily}

{My cousin and BFF}

 {My parents}
 {Me and Lils again}
 {My cousin and her hubby}

{My sis and her hubby}

{My little sis and her hubby}

Pretty  bad, huh?

We love laughing at these pictures, but more important we love that we've learned to laugh at ourselves,
 and the kiddos now do the same thing.

I hope you guys can have a holiday season filled with
Love and Laughter as well!

Merry Christmas!

XO - Kristyn
