It about time to start running around neighbor gifts... So I decided to share what we are giving our neighbors this year. I always stick with simple gifts that range fro $1-$5 total, just because we don't have a very big budget to spend, but I always try to make the presentation nice.
As I was walking through Target last week, I spotted a gift set of these darling packaged hot chocolate mixes. They came in a pack of 5 boxes for $8-something. I thought it would be the perfect little gift to hand out for our neighbors. I could not get over how cute the little boxes were!
I took one box and a piece of grosgrain that would tie all the way around the box. I cut out my printable tags (that I will be sharing with you at the end of the post) and put a hole punch in the corner so I could put it onto the string. Tie it one around your box and then string your tag on.
Then before tying the bow, I laid a 3-4 inch piece of wired sparkly ribbon on top of the first ribbon. (If you copy my technique, you will want your ribbon to have wire in it so you can work with it to get it to look kinda like a bow)
Then I tied a bow with the first ribbon over top of the wired ribbon to secure it to the box. After the sparkle ribbon was tied in, I bent the ribbon to look like a bow. (this trick will make your presents look like they have lots of ribbon on top, but make your ribbon go farther since you are only using a couple inches of it at a time:)
That's it! Super easy, but cute presentation:)
